If you haven't seen this post today, go see it now. FINALLY, an explanation that makes sense!
We are in the death throes (I hope) of our move and sale/purchase of homes. I am so sick of this entire process, there are no words to adequately express my feelings. If there were, I'm certain they wouldn't be suitable to post here for my grandmother to read. (Hi Grandma!)
We are supposed to sign on both the sale and the purchase tomorrow, however the buyer's lender is now dragging their feet and we're not sure they are going to get their paperwork to the title company in time. It's a government agency, no surprise there. GRRR. Meanwhile, hubby is home by himself today emptying the rest of our stuff out of our house. We slept there last night for the last time. Tonight we move into a hotel... hopefully only for one night. If their lender still doesn't do what they're supposed to, we might end up there for two or more nights. At $150 a night (the cheapest in town), I reeeeeeeeeeally hope not.
The only upside to this is that the hotel has a pool, and I haven't been able to get Aidan into a pool yet in his life. If we do end up staying a second night, we will be in that pool at some point by golly!! He is going to have SO much fun. He's a huge water baby.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to take my knotted stomach back to work and continue obsessing about this whole being-homeless-for-several-days business. Did I already ask you to never let me move again? If not, then consider this my request. Please don't ever let me sell a house and buy a house at the same time again! It's been almost three months of STRESS!! Ahhhhhhh!
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!

Didn't anyone tell you that you should stay away form the pool in an hourly motel?
